Some supporters - both individuals and companies - prefer to become more involved than by sponsorship, which they see as simply contributing to something the Trust has arranged.
They will themselves charge admission to events of their own creation, gathering groups of like-minded people and so make fund-raising a more social, more pleasurable affair. The admission fees cover 'expenses plus' and any profits are sent to the trust.
For example, what could be nicer than a Summer Garden Party, a glass of something refreshing in hand, listening to an informal talk about the healing qualities of plants, especially if many of those plants were growing in the garden itself.
Purely social gatherings have included Golf Days and Bridge Evenings; while more commercial events could include the opening of a new homeopathic retail outlet with donated products on sale or even auctioned for the benefit of the Trust.
There are as many possibilities as there are ideas, but please feel free to talk things over in terms of practicality or suitability with the Trust Administrator.
